Good ideas prevail: In 2011, renowned hotels joined forces for cooperation and joint marketing. In the meantime, 25 top golf facilities in Germany, Austria, Italy, Portugal and Turkey belong to the steadily growing association of "Hotels on the Golf Course".

Because the idea is simply ingenious: staying overnight directly or at most one par 4 away from the golf course - a dream for many golfers.

The criteria for inclusion in this association are strict: on the one hand, the hotels may not be located further than a par-4 (maximum 430 meters) from the golf course and, on the other hand, the associated courses must be awarded at least four stars by the "International Golf Stars Classification". With this promise of quality, golfers can be sure that their expectations of a "vacation in a new dimension" will be met. This successful concept was already recognized by the Golf Course Association Europe (GCAE) in 2018. And even four years later, the brand impresses with quality and a unique selling proposition.

This is precisely why the marketing cooperation was awarded the Innovation Prize by the Golf Course Association Europe at the 12th International Golf Congress 2022 in Bad Gögging. Dr. Lodewijk Klootwijk, Managing Director of the GCAE, presented the award to Brand Manager Suzana Hopf, who gladly accepted the prize on behalf of all partner hotels.

Suzana Hopf: "The lavishly designed "Hotels on the Golf Course" catalog provides an informative overview of the partner hotels and golf courses and where they can be found. In addition, all hotels offer attractive "Stay and Play" packages as well as other packages. The popular "Hotels on the Golf Course" Trophy tournament series also took place again this year."
